I mainly did RTTS, never really dived in before and got addicted lol. Im a SS got drafted by the D'Backs. I said I was gonna start a franchise with whoever drafted me, but cant decide between the D'Backs & the Rockies. But definately gonna pick one and post a few Franchise box scores later today. Played a few quick games and really liked the sliders, great like last year, just gotta start a Franchise.

Re: Itbeme23 Sim Sliders - Veteran Hitting/A.S. Classic Pitching & OCD Accurate Strik

I finally hit the 50-game mark of testing. I will be posting a very huge stat update later this afternoon.

From the ten games I've played in my franchise, I don't foresee making any changes to the sliders other than the adjustments I've made to CPU Manager Hook and Steal Success. I will update the first post with those changes.

Other than that, I'm rolling with these, and I will continue to post boxscores/statlines from my franchise on a game-to-game basis. I encourage anybody else to do so as well. I'd really like to see if others are getting the same results that I am.

Cheers!

7 games played and I have yet tot see a runner caught stealing. It seems really easy to steal base, didńt see a close call.

What are your stats?

Re: Itbeme23 Sim Sliders - Veteran Hitting/A.S. Classic Pitching & OCD Accurate Strik

I have been absolutely loving these on PS3. I had found that most other slider sets tend to favor pitching and that there were rarely offensive breakouts. On this set however, I've been getting great game variation that really brings a different feeling to the show. I'd say this is my favorite set I've played with from the past few years.

Unfortunately I think they may need some adjustments switching over to PS4. I've seen mixed opinions on how well sliders transfer over. I think the game plays pretty similarly, but I've noticed a steep decline in power for both the user and CPU. Strike percentages also seem higher for both sides resulting in fewer walks which is a shame considering actually seeing those was one of my favorite parts of using these on PS3. This may be a result of sample size, but hopefully with a few adjustments I can get these back to playing like PS3 because on there this is a truly great set.

Unfortunately, base stealing stats is something that I didn't pay as much attention as I probably should have. I was very focused on the other aspects of the game, particularly with getting the pitching right. However, I too have noticed that base stealing just feels (for a lack of a better word) "OFF" this year. I updated the first post with what I'm using as of now (Base Stealing Frequency: 5, Base Stealing Success: 8). As far as runners being caught stealing, I've found that the CPU is a lot more prone to getting caught, while base stealing seems significantly easier for the user. This is why I have Stealing Success at 8, so it gives the CPU a higher likelihood of swiping a bag. As far as the user, in order to avoid over-abusing the success in stealing against the CPU, I usually don't take a secondary lead from first base. Feel free to chime in with any suggestions that you have. I'm all ears....

Thanks for giving the sliders a shot, man!!! I appreciate it. If you can post a few box scores from your PS4 games, I'd be happy to see if we can find a slider combo that helps with your stats.
