In RTTS can you start as a starting pitcher and later in your career become a closer or vice verser ? Same with other positions, can you start as a 3rd baseman and move to a 1st baseman or SS ? Does the team sometime play you out of position if they have a lot of strength in your position ?

The option is there under interactions to ask the coach to move your position. I haven't been able to successfully get him to move me. I'm set as my 2B now in my 5th year, but the earlier years there was a lot competition for 2B and hardly any for SS, so I tried to move but he wouldn't let me. Throughout my first 3 years in the majors I played primarily at SS and 3B though even though my 1st position is 2B. The first year I got a lot of play was at 3B because Chipper Jones had a season ending injury and they put me in there. The next year I bounced around 3B, SS, and 2B when guys needed days off which between those positions was nearly every day.
My secondardy position is IF by the way.
