Is The Show living up to the hype?

Yes.

The game is simply amazing. Its the Winning Eleven of Baseball. The Show is to sports games what Halo is to shooters, Forza/Gran Turismo are to racing games, and GTA is to action games.

The bugs are disappointing, but this is the first time I've really felt like I'm playing a next-gen (can we start calling it current gen now?) sports game.

I don't know if its surpassed the hype, since the hype was pretty strong. But it's lived up to it for sure.

Amen brother. When I read that, I thought to myself, "so The Show is shallow, repetitive and dull?"
