Hello, The Show team... This year I was a first time buyer of "The Show" and I fell in love right away!

Of course I would have bought the game much sooner, I just didn't own a PS2 or PS3. Anyways...

I have one request from you the game creators.... and it's something that's never been in a sports game ever before.

Could you please, add the last name Lint to the announcer's voice database???

I've been playing games for years and years, yet I've never once come upon an announcer database that includes the last name "Lint" in it.

It would make my day. Finally to have an announcer say "Lint steps up to the plate".

I know that's a really weird request, and I understand if you'll never get to it, but man how I would love for your game to be the first ever sports game to include the last name of "Lint" in it!

For the past 2 years, SCEA comes on this forum and asks forum members to submit their names to them as well as the pronunciation of their name to add it to their database. I hope they do it again this year. I missed last year's deadline. Just need to keep you eyes open and check back.

For the past 2 years, SCEA comes on this forum and asks forum members to submit their names to them as well as the pronunciation of their name to add it to their database. I hope they do it again this year. I missed last year's deadline. Just need to keep you eyes open and check back.

ckarlic, about what time of the year did they come and ask for this info?

If they do ask, let's make sure we suggest the names of all the Japanese players who might sign with an MLB team in the off-season.

I think that's a great idea Superbone. Maybe if people just put their names in here obliquely, then Sony could just sorta see them without people having to go through that whole "mail in a release form" hassle.

My last name's Wilkerson, though I think that may have been in there already....

In that case, my last name is Venner.

It is the first part is pronunced like "in" with a v in front of it {just like the name vin} and the second part is just er.
