Hey everyone, i'd like to know if the new renovated Kauffman stadium is in the new mlb 09 the show game. This is very important to me as i will be playing the majority of my games in there

If they are using it IRL....I'd say that The Show '09 is going to have it.

Yes, I believe I remember Kolbe saying that Kauffman was one of the stadiums they really focused on this year.

It's a gorgeous park. I can't wait to see the new renovations. That new scoreboard last season blew me away.

I agree.

It was always one of my favorite stadiums. Even though it is large, it had the "small town AAA feel to it", and in that I don't mean a bad thing. It always felt "cozy" playing there. And the water is beautiful.

Enigma you nailed it, It does feel like a Triple A field, but in a good way. There's such a difference after a series at Fenway or Yankee stadium and then to travel to the quaint, beautiful Kauffman stadium, I actually have a 3 game series coming up there after one more game against the Rays. hopefully I can sweep becaue I've started the season 1-5 with my Yankees

I too remember them saying they sent some people to the park this year and I think they worked with the grounds crew to work on details and everything. I thought it was The K, but it might have been a different one...

Enigma you nailed it, It does feel like a Triple A field, but in a good way. Yeah, almost like a 'field of dreams' so to speak. I expect to see miles of cornfields behind the center field walls.

I get a half-season pack each year as it's all I can afford. Even though I don't make all the games, it's better than nothing.
