Rays and Twins fans...how ya feelin?

I would think it would be kind of a let down to have all of these amazing new features based on weather and lighting effects....day to night transitions, hot and cold weather, clouds and overcast...and not be able to enjoy that in your home parks.

Its only one more year I guess for the Twins, and not sure about Tampas park.

I typically sim my Sox franchise games when I play either of those teams. I dont even mind the parks so much, its just that without natural sunlight from last year, and the new effects this year, they just looked too fake. (plus the sleeve issues)

How do you guys play your franchises for those teams? Do you deal with the parks okay?

Hopefully they at least improved the lighting in those parks to add depth and detail to the games.

First off, Yanks have always been my team. It got too easy with them in video games in the past so I picked a young team last year (which turned out to be the Rays) I really enjoyed using them, the stadium did not bother me at all. But I gotta say with all the improvements this year i'm definitely leaning back towards the Bombers!! And besides it's a brand new stadium, cannot wait

I think that it makes playing on the road that much more enjoyable for them.

As bad as the Braves stadium is on the game I got to where I only play road games with my Braves franchise. All the rest of the stadiums look sharp and awesome but then the Braves stadium looks like they took the PS2 version and put it in the PS3 game.

at least this year though you will have the benefit of the lighting and weather. It should make a huge difference in the look of the stadium.

I like playing in the Metrodome in Minnesota... trying to hit a homer over that big wall in right-field is always what I aim for, lol.

I don't mind playing in the domes though, it's always good to get a change of scenery.

I am from Iowa and a big Cubbie fan. I also follow the Twins in the AL. I might be in the minority, but I like to play in the Metrodome. I also go to a few games during the season, but excited about Target field opening next year. Baseball should be played outdoors.

That is the truth. Since half of my games are in the metrodome with my Twins season I decided to play with all games at the 'Daytime' setting in 08 so when I get on the road I actually get to see some lighting and shadows. I like the graphics better in the daytime.

In 09 with the progressive lighting I wont have to do this. From what I have seen from the Videos it looks like the nightgame lighting has improved (more shadow detail on the players) and I hope maybe this means that the dome lighting will be better this year.

And it is only one more season till us Twins fans get outdoors!

Turner field where the Braves play was terrible. It better be fixed cause it looked god awful compared to the rest.

I enjoy the away games a lot in baseball games. I think playing as the Twins has probably had a major impact on that. I just wish that they could make the right field wall play correctly. It should play very soft and not be a hard wall. That has always frustrated me with the Metrodome in video games.

Playing at the Metrodome in video games is just like watching a game there in real life..........TERRIBLE!!! Well it's not that bad. It was nice playing games there in college though. I also agree with Bergie, the baggy in right never has played right in video games. In real life it just hits it and drops straight down, but it is like a brick wall in video games. Only one more season, and the dome will be no more. I heard Target Field is supposed to be amazing....except for the name. I think we need to start a petition to nickname it "The Bullseye!!"

I feel like that about watching the Falcons play home games. Football should be played outdoors. Arthur Blank is working hard to get the Falcons a new stadium maybe as soon as 2015.

I wish a game would find a way to make playing at the Metrodome challengin for road teams just like in real life. But i guess we will never see that now since next year its gone.
