First thing I'll do is start a new Indians franchise, then go right into Spring Training. Anxious to start the regular season, however, but I'll want to practice first.
Cannot wait to play game one of regular season in the new Yankees Stadium!
The first thing I always do is look at the rosters (individual attributes, faces, equipment, etc...) to see how many things need changed. I hardly ever get to play sports games because I spend so much time fixing the rosters.
I'm going right to the create a player screen to check out the new custom player music feature. While I'm in there I'll check to see if there are any new appearance options for your created player, and check out all the batting stances/pitching motions.
Same way I always start with a new baseball game....
Cubs vs. Cardinals @ Wrigley. Then another one at Busch.
Probably will check out BP mode after that.
As a Cubs fan, that's a great way to start off MLB '09: The Show. I think I'll do that exact same thing. I like to play a decent amount of exhibition games first to get the sliders set the way I like it. After playing the demo like 40 times, I have a feeling I'm not going to have to mess with a lot of batting and pitching sliders thankfully. I'll probably just have to get the global sliders set just right. I'll also check out the online improvements very soon as well. Then, I can get into Franchise and RTTS.
