Re: Downloaded the demo but playing on SDTV
No offense, but your TV probably just sucks. When I downloaded the demo, I still had an SDTV and the game looked fine. I got an HDTV a couple weeks ago, and the difference is remarkable. But still, even on my SDTV the game looked good. -
Re: Downloaded the demo but playing on SDTV
john, sorry to say, but as Money Mayweather would say... "STEP YOUR GAME UP!", you need to buy a good HDTV to understand the true awesomeness of this game. You havent even experienced "THe Show" untill you get one bro! But in all seriousness, I highly recommend saving up for a decent one, its honestly a whole new gameLast edited by humaca80; 02-25-2009, 11:11 PM.Comment

Re: Downloaded the demo but playing on SDTV
I just got a PS3 5 days ago and when i first played the demo, it was very blurry as well. Thing is, i was playing on an HDTV.
After i finally bought an HDMI cable 2 days ago, the difference was HUGGGGGEEEEEE!!!!!!! It wasnt blurry at all and the graphics were dead sexy.Comment

Re: Downloaded the demo but playing on SDTV
I answered your question. I said I played it on my SDTV and it looked fine. The game is not "only made for HD" as you asked. You can play it on any TV. If it looks terribly and blurry the problem is your TV.Comment

Re: Downloaded the demo but playing on SDTV
if you're like me and you cant really afford to go out and get an HDTV...look into some lcd computer monitors. the aspect ratio is 6:10 instead of 6:9, but i havent noticed a terrible effect from this. If you look on craigslist, you can probably get a pretty good 22" (which will give you 720) for under 200 bucks. Make sure you do some research though to get a good one. that was my solution for inexpensive hd gaming. now i'm trying to sell my 22" and get a 24" though to get 1080...it never ends for an electronics junky.Comment

Re: Downloaded the demo but playing on SDTV
I agree with humaca. If you can't afford a HDTV then by all means don't go broke trying to get one for this game.
I played PS3 on a SDTV for 2 years. I got a HDTV around a month ago. The difference is night and day. I really never had a blurry picture with my SD one, but in HD this game really shines, and all games for that matter.
But to answer your question, it could be your TV because it was never blurry on my Sony Wega 32 SDTV. It could also be your cables, you might want to check.Comment
