Thanks......I just purchased a PS3!!!

Well.....I just broke down and purchased a PS3!!!! I have owned an XBOX 360 since its inception (yes, I had it on launch day) and I thought I would be ok with 2K9. I'm even a 2k fanboy but that game just seems "off".

But after reading these reviews, the little things and watching videos, I actually convinced my wife we need a BluRay player :wink:

I went ahead and got a PS3 just for this game. I know....that's sick! But I can't wait until my PS3 comes so I can play this game. This looks so freakin' amazing!

I made a wise decision, right????

I recently converted from the 360 to PS3 two week ago because of The Show, Killzone 2, God of War 3, Uncharted, etc......no regrets whatsoever. The Show has blown me away. So has Killzone 2.

Most of the people on this board probably don't play their PS3 that much for things other than The Show and Blu-Ray, hahaha.lot

360 is my system, but when baseball season is around the corner my PS3 is on... alot.

I purchased a PS3 about two months ago for the show and have barely touched my 360 since. I don't know what took me so long!!!!!

I am breaking down and getting a ps3 as well. I need a great baseball game and I am tired of the dang xbox breaking (just bought my 3rd one in January)

I'm not turning this into a debate between the systems.... After this post, it's over on my end. But owning both systems, I can say that's not true. Read any review for games released on both systems and they will tell you better than I ever could, that the 360 versions have the edge.

ok this is good to hear. I have 360 from its inceptions as well. I have always been a PS guy, however I could not justify paying 5bills for the PS3. My friend wants to sell his so I may just buy it for a good price. I am dying to play a dynamite baseball game. I bought 2k9 but there are so many issues that I am about to give up and break down and buy a ps3. I am glad to hear people are happy they bought it only for this game.
