I am new here so I am not sure if this was already posted, did a quick search but didn't find anything.
So I was having some issues with my rtts player always using a feet first hook slide all the time, even when I tried getting him to do a head first slide I'd get the same feet first hook slide, which really sucked cause its a slower slide so getting tagged out on close plays was very fustrating. Well I am happy to say I found out what was causing the issue and now I have no issues sliding at all. The problem was caused because in my options I had changed my baserunning from the new control scheme to the classic control scheme, which I think is a better control but that's another conversation. Now the reason this messes up sliding is because on the classic control scheme last year sliding was controlled by the left stick not the right and it seems that has carried over this year.... even though i have been able to slide w/ the right stick in other modes. But yeah that option wasn't even in the rtts menu screens I actually had to change it via the main menu, though it is kinda funny cause when you highlight that option it does say specifically "does not affect rtts". Anyways just wanted to post that fix for anyone else that was having the same issues, rtts is now much funner for me now that i can slide properly.
