Re: Astros Uniforms

I hope they start adding more throwbacks. One of the old 2K games used to have like 10 throwbacks per team.

No, if that were true then 2k9 and 09 would have the exact same uniforms. 2k9 has the Astros red on white with and without pinstripes.

Also, why are the twins & blue jays road alts missing from the game?

I'm pretty sure Russ knows what he is talking about. Unless you know the details of the exclusivity contract, and the restraints placed on SCEA, you should probably trust what Russ says. If they didn't have to follow it, don't you think they would have fixed the uniforms mentioned in the uniform correction thread. It sucks that they have to follow this incorrect styles guide, but thats the way it is.

So what you say is correct no matter what?

Is it not out of the realm of possibility to believe that the two games were given style guides at different times and that these style guides were different? Maybe teams contacted them and maybe made changes at different times?

I think I will trust Russ on this one.

Re: Astros Uniforms

Texans, the alternate road uni is not correct. It should have a black number on the front (just like the gray one) and it doesn't. But I agree with you. I was really hoping the style guide would get this right this year, since all the other uniform changes made it in, i.e Texas, Boston.

I really hope it is correct next year.
