you can, but it weird, the songs are in folders marked F0000(etc) and they arent in any kind of order.

Oh you can move songs over from your iPod? That's cool, I thought you could just stream.

The best way if you are just doing a few songs is this I found:

1.put your Ipod into disk mode
2.usb to your computer, find your music and copy it to the 'notes' folder on your ipod
3.usb to ps3, and copy from the notes folder to your hdd. This way it will show the song names, etc.

I did this for the first time earlier today. I had no idea you could even do this until I googled it.

Connect the iPod to the PS3, and under music, find your iPod, press X, and go to (iTunes or iPod Control??). IDR exactly, but its something like that, just find where the songs are. They'll be in folders like F0000, F0001 (etc.). Once you find the songs, just press triangle and press copy for each song.

                Hope that helps.

When I did this for 08, it took so long to search for the songs. This year, I took wifey's small MP3 player and loaded my songs on that. Much easier to find it that way.

I'm gonna try this in a moment, but I have about 12,000 songs on my iPod so this seems like it'll be a nightmare.

How'd you pull it off? I keep getting the same "there are no tracks" message and I can't find the iPod control folder.

This is a stupid question : Is the folder on my iPod or is on the PS3?
