100 MPH

Time to keep it light. Things have been heavy around here lately. Here's an easy thread to participate in (without fighting).

I've been playing with a bunch of different teams and yesterday I used the Tigers. Zumaya got the call from me in the 7th, and his 1st 3 pitches went 95, 98, and 100 MPH.

it wasn't until then that I even thought about 100 MPH. I hadn't realized that I played 50 plus games without seeing it.

So, have you seen it? Who did it? And, how long before you saw it?

Ive hit 101mph with Zoomer as well, ive seen no higher than that though.

Filthy when painting corners at that speed.

some dude in AAA in my RTTS had a 100MPH fastball on me the other day. Can't remember for sure but I think it was a random guy (not a real player).

I hit 102 with Farnsworth ONCE. NO BS. 102! Second pitch in relief. Couldn't hit it again though. Got 100 and then it went down from there.

Zumaya is the only guy I have seen hit triple digits (101mph).

I've seen a couple 98-99mph from other guys though.

Yankees AAA closer I don't know his name in the game hits it had to bring him up once.

Zumaya hit 102 for me in 08....Fernando Rodney and Verlander clocked in around 97....I like the fact that every fastball isn't the same velocity.

Played against the Braves yestreday. And to my suprise good ole Tommy Glavine drop soon heat on me at 100 mph!

Faced an opposite problem last night with my RTTS player. I've had a strikeout problem lately, and a lot of it has been due to just not reacting enough to the speed of some of the pitchers.

Well then, this junk-baller trash pitcher comes in (he was some 40-man roster guy fighting for a spot on the other team, I think) and he's maxing at 86 with his fastball, and then his change is 69 and his slider's like at 76. I couldn't wait long enough for anything. I looked like an idiot up there. Ended up still striking out once against the guy and hitting little nubbers left and right.

I hit 100 MPH a few times with the Shark.

I've used the Cubs more than a few times and I've never hit 100 with him.

haha, same here. I was facing Beckett and he was throwing heat. Then Wakefield came in and gave me headaches!
