I believe API is based off the pitcher's abilities not the catchers. Meaning the pitches called are based on the pitchers strengths and weaknesses.

I would assume that they all call the same game. If anything affected it i could see it being MLB experience.
But hey, there are hidden stances, so why not hidden ratings? lol
