Yes, use L3 to toggle it on and off... also, make sure you dont inadvertantly press it during play.

sometimes it just goes out on its own for an inning or two or more sometimes, its very sketchy

Will only Bluetooth work or will other usb mikes work?

Also do we need to set something in a ps3 menu or game menu?

For the other person to hear do they need to hit L3?
