I never understand the need for threads like these. If your a Boston fan then why wouldnt you play with Boston? If it isnt Boston then do some homework and see which team fits your playing style the best, how can anyone here tell you who you should play as? -

Whatever you do don't pick the Nats because as soon as you start getting decent you can't afford any of your star players...its heartbreaking to say the least because I had a kid who threw 100 mph gas and he had just won 16 games for me, but I knew I couldn't afford to keep him at the end of the season so I had to deal him at the deadline.Comment

I am a little concerned by this. Are you saying that no matter how well you do that you can not afford to resign your players? I started a Nat's franchise Friday, and I played around 15 games. I am loving their team, (not sure why). I am 9-6 but I lost my last two. I am playing with the default starting line-ups except Bard is catching, and I picked up Pedro since that is probably where he will end up at.Whatever you do don't pick the Nats because as soon as you start getting decent you can't afford any of your star players...its heartbreaking to say the least because I had a kid who threw 100 mph gas and he had just won 16 games for me, but I knew I couldn't afford to keep him at the end of the season so I had to deal him at the deadline.
I am worried now that I will not make enough money to keep my players regardless of how well we do. Does the gaem not allow you to transistion from a small market to a large market team?Comment
