How do you get ejected in this game?

    Seriously.

Playing fantasy draft chise Cubs vs. Sox interleague series. My pitcher Adam Miller gets drilled in the helmet trying to bunt in the 3rd inning, out of the game, hes concussed.

I am now out for blood.

Next inning with my LR Schmidt, the opposing pitcher Lackey comes up, I drill him right between the shoulders for revenge, words are exchanged but no ejections.

He comes up again later in the game, Schmidt is still in, I am still pissed, so I hit him in the head. Again, NO EJECTIONS!!

So I can just hit as many guys as I want? I mean seriously WTF!

Its kind of weird how they determine who gets tossed. I had a game the other day where I was killing the cpu. He then drills one of my guys and they exchange words. Next inning I drill their guy and I immediately get tossed. But I've had games where the same situation comes up and no one gets tossed. Another thing thats weird is, I've never seen where a batter charges the mound and gets tossed. It's always the pitcher who gets the hook for some reason.

I think it also has to do with the emotion of the game. If its really intense (lots of lead changes, pitchers duel) the likelihood of gettin tossed increases. Also I saw my batter get tossed last night after gettin plunked and starting to rush the mound, but the guy who was on deck stops him.

I could be wrong but I'm not sure the game recognizes who you hit.

So if you hit him once and then again 3 innings later, I don't think the game recognized that it was Lackey you hit twice. So just two hit batters in 4 innings or so wouldn't really be enough to warrant an ejection.

Again, i could be wrong though.

I've noticed that once you hit 3 guys you will be injected. It could be the same guy or 3 different ones it doesnt matter. The game doesnt keep track of who you hit but just how many you have hit and 3 has been the magic number for me.

What's worse, is when the batter who gets hit charges the mound and the pitcher is ejected, and not the batter

Whats messed up is the player who argues the out/safe call at first base and gets ejected.

Sometimes he argues he is safe and gets tossed even if he is thrown out at first by 2 steps!!!

Ejections are handled it seems purely by chance, that is one of the areas the game needs work on for sure.
