OK guys i have a problem and need help my rtts pitcher is getting smacked around the better he get i know makes no sense... the first two years in the Majors i only gave up 3 home runs and had a decent era 3.15 with subpar pitches.. now my third year with my top two pitches FB, CH max out i have already given up 13 HR!!! in two months (about 10 starts) someone please lets me know what you have to work on as a pitcher in RTTS bc maxing out my pitchs sure isnt working... ???

Start putting points into HR/9. It sounds like you have a low rating in that, so a improved rating should lower the HRs given up. -

yeah that only at about 50 but it was low before and i didnt give up so many but i got you... ok so my question is should i work on all the /9 inning attributes more than i work on my pitches??Comment

Yes. Work on getting all your /9 attributes to 75-80, and your pitcher should do better. H/9 will give you less hits given up, HR/9 less XBH, BB/9 less walks, and K/9 more strikeouts. You can put points back into pitches once you get those rating to about that level.Comment

you also might be having a bad year too. in year 5 i had a pretty bad year, though most wouldnt consider 3.70 era "bad" but i was giving up alot of homeruns and had an era over 6 going into the allstar break with 2 wins. even though i did turn it around in the 2nd half, the cpu was jacking homeruns on the edge of the zones and sometimes out of the zone. my team also had worst defense i have ever seen, and i gave up alot of hits and runs because of ground balls going through their legs or diving at balls in the outfield that they have no chance of getting.Comment
