how many of you guys use the right stick flyballsgroundball stick? Is it useful in becoming a better hitter for power? I am having trouble hitting in general and for power, I make good contact but its right at people. Any thoughts are really appreciated.

I use it, almost always push it up except in obvious groundball situations. I'm still having trouble hitting doubles and triples, either my hits are hit right at people, or the fielders cut it off. The OFers play so deep that you're not getting anything past them.
Anyway, as long as you're making solid contact there's not much else you can do. I don't believe anything but luck is involved between hitting a ball right to a fielder, and hitting a ball in a hole. There is such a small timing window that you can influence whether the ball is going left, center, right, but you can't 'will' the ball to go between fielders. -

i was having same problem with hitting right at people, went into batting practice and took a couple hundred balls... it fixed my batting problems. my timing was a bit off on some pitches causing me to hit to the same places.Comment
