A revamp of the fielding part of the game. That means more varied animations, more appropriate errors, etc. Overall, fielders need to have more "personality" on the field so you can really differentiate the greats from the not-so-greats.

Gold glove awards would actually mean something for once if they did this!

Throwing - Make the meter mean something. A display like MVP's with the meter moving in time with the animation would be great.

The interaction between your RTTS player and the coach

Maybe SCEA could make the coach observe your RTTS player's performance more dynamically and react more accurately. Maybe they could make it so your player can choose from a few different things to say to the coach about each topic.

Gameplay

"Sometimes" when turning a Double play the second basemen just holds onto the ball instead of throwing to first for the easy out!!!

And also all fielders seem to take there good old time fielding a ball at times (Too Much Double Clutching) They need to speed it up a little and quickly field the ball and throw it. This would help turning those Double plays better!

Also out fielders use the "crow hop" too much. They need to charge the ball and throw quickly!!

This was a problem with 07,08 and 09 on PS3.

I am really hoping these gameplay issues will be fixed in MLB 10 The Show!

I did have an issue w/ fielding, but since its been mentioned a few times, I'll say pitching. The ability to throw strikes is too easy as a user. They need to make it more difficult.

Make the cpu take more pitches..make us throw more pitches too instead of hiting the second pitch and ending the at bat real quick. Also inlcude real errors and take out the high throws to first ,that happens to me in like every game at least once, cmon.

Also the outfielders most of the time take too long after an out to get rid of the ball when there are runners on 3rd base..they need to be quick in the release.

Add me to the fielding list. More fluid control, less delay on throws, more variance between the best and worst fielders (including throw strength, particularly in the IF)...the whole deal!

More responsive throw meter......I also liked how in MLB 2k9, (sorry to reference this game), they had a feature where you held one of the triggers during the throw to make the fielder get rid of the ball. Like on slow rollers, you had to hold the trigger down while fielding the ball so that the infielder would quickly field and throw. The throw meter moved much quicker as well.

Baserunning in general. It was way too easy to steal bases in previous years, so they made it too hard. I had trouble stealing any bases, unless I had a baserunner with 99 speed.
