What is the coolest cutscene you've seen?

A while back I saw this one: I hit a homerun (can't remember the game or player) and after he circled the diamond and entered the dugout (nobody high fived him at the plate) all his teammates were just sittin there like nothing happened. Then the player raises his hands like wtf guys and then all his teammates laugh and stand up to congratulate him.

I can still remember that one from MLB 06 The Show. As a Yankees fan, I'm, obviously, a big fan of the roll call at Yankee Stadium. And how they cut to show the player the fans are chanting respond to the Bleacher Creatures.

The three outfielders playing football when the game have been idle for a while is the best I've seen yet.

At Wrigley Field, I love the one where they cut out and Matt talks about Rex signing Take Me Out to the Ball Game. The show the replay and all the players are covering their ears and throwing their hands up in the air.

One I always thought was cool was when sometimes if a pitcher is getting hit hard, they cut to a scene of the manager talking into the dugout phone.

So many to choose from...

I think my favorite is the curtain call. I've only seen it once, and it still stings:

Ryan Howard hit a 3-run HR in the bottom of the ninth w/ 2 outs to tie game 3 of the NLDS - his 3rd HR of the game. I gave serious thought to pitching around him, but I didn't want to bring the winning run to the plate

After the HR replay, his teamates pushed him up the dugout stairs for a well-deserved curtain call.

BTW, the Phils went on to win in extras, finishing off a 3-0 sweep of my Cubs.

I thought the hidden ball trick for a runner at third was pretty sweet.

Mine would have to be playing against the Indians in a regular season game. I was the Yankees at Yankee stadium with a big lead. Towards the end of the game after an out, it cuts to a scene showing Damon looking confused. Vasgersian mentions that a fan has run on to the field. The camera shifts to A-Rod looking angry and motioning security to escort the fan off the field. Vasgersian then says due to MLB rules they are not allowed to show what is happening, but assures that the fan will be and I quote "spending time at the pokey."

"MLB 10" will default with the same presentation gamers are used to, with all the classic cut scenes that help you follow the action.

So yes, there will still be cutscenes next year.

I love the one when you're in a pressure situation late in the game, and as a batter comes up to the plate, it will cut to a camera around the backstop that pans the scope of the entire field.
