3D and The Show...2011?

The big thing this year will be 3D going mainstream...just see all the TVs coming out and ESPN announcing a 3D channel starting in June 2010.

I think baseball is a great sport for 3D (the ball flight lends quite nicely to 3D I think). Since PS3 has already demo'ed 3D, and The Show is a Sony Developed game, do you think we will be able to see The Show in 3D for 2011, and would you even like to play in 3D?

I think it would be great...the batter/pitcher duel would add depth to the pitches, and a broadcast fielding cam would be great with the ball in 3D.

Yeah, I wonder if certain camera angles will be altered in their broadcast-ed games to capture the "wow" factor of a liner headed at the screen, or a lineman going into your living room for a sack. Or snack, whichever lol.

This hd technology is over whelming. I feel bad for the guys that dropped big bucks on led tv's, while the next "new" thing is freakin 3d.

I refuse to have to wear gay looking glasses while watching TV. How sad was it that they played the cowboys game in 3d within the stadium and people actually watched a screen of 3d film of the game instead of watching the dame 3d players in front of them!

It's already working we have a setup at CES with the Show in 3D and it looks amazing. (Yes I'm a homer)

I was hoping this year .... but maybe next year we get to try to hit Justin Verlander's 100mph faseball in 3D using the new Playstation Motion Controller......but most likely we'll just get scared sh1tless and move the f'out the way.
