with reading and digesting all the info on 10 Ive been thinking of a new game mode. i was thinking a mode where you would be the home plate ump and call balls and strikes and plays at the plate. yes it might get old fast, but i just thought i would share my idea.

Then the following year we will all a anxiously awaiting "Bat Boy" Mode.
Where at one point in a big game you have to decide whether or not it's a good idea to run onto to the field and retrieve a bat in the middle of a play and hope one of the team's stars has the instinct to snatch you out of harms way as he crosses the plate.

I want to be the peanut or the beer guy. And you have to make a certain amount of sales each game. It would kinda be like RTTS. You would start in AA as a young peanut guy and you have to build up your skills such as yelling ability, moving through the stands ability, and selling ability. Before you know it you made it to the show!

I had an idea for a new batting mode, but I haven't thought it through very deeply yet. It's basically like this:
You hit a button to initiate your swing..
After that, the camera zooms in on the strikezone ( the strike zone would take up almost the entire screen ) and time slows down for a couple seconds ( you can see the ball coming in and get a glimpse of how the seams are spinning ).
You control a cursor ( sweet spot of the bat ) that shakes according to the batter's contact rating, situation the batter is in, etc. and of course you have to aim the cursor where you think the ball is going to end up, then hit the button again to actually swing.
A different button could check your swing.
I don't know. It's probably been said before. It's a form of cursor hitting.. like MLB Power Pros or Pro Baseball Spirits, but more in-depth and probably much more difficult.Comment

I want a game scoring mode. I love to score games. I've set many many cpu vs cpu matches just to score games. I'm going to DL a scoring app to my daughters ipod and confiscate it during the season. LOL
