Player card picture changes?!?
I honestly would prefer a generic computerized pic of the player than an actual pic. This way it would be easy to change the team hat and jersey of the player when traded. I hate seeing for example, A-Rod being traded to Texas, but in his plaer car pic he's still wearing a yankees hat and uni. Please just use generic pics! OR use generic hats, like the generic MLB 09 hats they wear when FAs, and that way at least the hat changes. Would look much much better!Tags: None -

I much preferred them in their previous team's uniforms than the generic MLB0x hats.
Since it is what I was used to in the years and years of sports games. And what was seen IRL baseball before they started photo-shopping hats and unis on the player press pictures.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami Dolphins -

I don't care what they do, just do something so it's not the player wearing same hat or uni when they're on a different team. Ruins it for ppl like me who enjoy doing fantasy drafts as well.Comment

So to jump to a conclusion, that means the devs will make it possible the user can upload a picture to assign to particular player? If so, how much more awesome would Knight's full minors rosters be...Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

No! I prefer to jump to conclusions and assume what others are saying without saying it.
Y'awl have continually outdone what I have both expected and wished to see each year so I know I'll be ecstatic regardless.

Re: Player card picture changes?!?
I wonder if generic pictures of players can be found where it will be easy to just change the jersey and hats on them. Computer generated pics will be an improvement, but it doesn't seem that much work to make the jerseys and hat open to variety. But since I have no logistics of video game technology, I also have to admit to ignorance.
Or just have it where the players are posing without hats and show little of the jersey below, like the basic colors so that can be easily interchangeable after trades.Comment

Re: Player card picture changes?!?
as Ramone has said before, when they introduce a new feature, they usually leave the option of having the old one back
but who knows if they would leave this option in. If it looks photorealistic enough, than who cares if they use rendered player images or actual photos?
Anyway, it's probably best to wait for 10 before we start complaining about 11

Re: Player card picture changes?!?
yikes! computerized faces would be awful. In fact, one of my biggest wishes is for the made up prospects to have real pictures.
Maybe they could use pics of the SCEA development team (the ones who could pass as ball players). Or, as a marketing campaign, allow fans to send in their pictures and add the ones who reasonably look like players. this would be unfair to the older gentlemen on here, but maybe you guys can pass as knuckleballers??<this would="" unfair="" to="" the="" older="" gentlemen="" on="" here,="" but="" perhaps="" you="" could="" be="" knuckleballers???=""><this would="" unfair="" to="" the="" older="" gentlemen="" on="" here,="" but="" maybe="" you="" guys="" can="" be="" knuckleballers???="">

Plus with the new player models coming next year hopefully maybe the computerized faces will look even more like real life then they do nowas Ramone has said before, when they introduce a new feature, they usually leave the option of having the old one back
