    Longest Pitches In An At-Bat

    I know many of you had some long at bats in any MLB (06-07-08-09), mine was 22 pitches from Josh Becket to Melky Cabrera in Fenway (MLB 09)

    Which was yours? :o
    Why did I move here? I guess it was the weather.

      Wow, the longest I've had is 7 or 8

              Damn!! 22 is crazy, I think the most I've ever had was 13 or 14.

                  (14) Josh Beckett vs. A Rod at Fenway. A Rod hit a moon shot over the green monster on a low and inside fastball.

                      The most I have thrown as a pitcher to an AI opponent was 14.

                      I had a 12 pitch AB as a hitter.

                          Low teens was the longest I ever had.

                              Just think of the Strike zone the next time you press guess pitch when the guy come up.

                                          22 pitches? sorry, but that is hard to believe. That means you fouled off 17 straight pitches. really?

                                                  I honestly don't know. Probably around 15 pitches are so.
                                                  I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

                                                  I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

                                                      It sure feels like the cpu has had some 22 pitch AB's against me though.

                                                          you don't have to foul off 17 straight pitches to endure a 22 pitch at-bat.
