Question First Franchise Transaction?

I have been very pleased w/ the way the Yankees roster turned out to begin spring training, but with that said I still cannot believe that they didnt persue neither Damon or Matsui. I am also a little disappointed to see Brian Bruney go.

I think when I begin my Franchise I will work a realstic way to aquire some players I feel the Yankees could have added. Some transactions I will make in my Franchise before I play any Spring Training games (to mimic the off season, since there is none in your year one).

So I ask, whether or not you're happy with your teams acquisitions (or lack of) this off-seaon, what would be your first change to your team? (This can include line-up/rotation changes within your team as well).

Well thats what I'm going to do, but I was wondering what everyone else is doing with their teams? I am sure not everyone here is playin as the Yankees.

The reason I ask is #1 I am tired of waiting for this game so to past the time I have to talk about it...lol, and #2 seeing who people are getting rid of on their team can give me some ideas of who I can pick up for mine, you know once the names starting getting thrown out there.

Not sure who I am going to try and trade for, but I know for sure I am getting rid of Gerald Laird in my Tigers franchise.

I tend to do the same, but there are some transactions that I wouldve made had I been the Yankees GM off the bat.

But thru out the course of the season, near the trading deadline I know I will make the bulk of my deals, if any.

Just by starting a Franchise I will be doing what the Mets need to do in real life; replace the owner, gm, and manager. Also, we need a completely new medical staff.
