Re: Favorite hitters eye ballpark
My RTTS 3B was traded to Baltimore from the Dbacks and I got to play in the new Yankee stadium. I loving hitting in Yankee stadium I see the ball very well and I'm able to hit the other way for power here when batting righty.
I HATE the DBacks stadium the place is death valley and balls just dont carry well, wait we are talking about a video game right.
NO...We are talking about The Show..

Re: Favorite hitters eye ballpark
In 09 RTTS, my C got traded from the Rays to Milwaukee. Both have outstanding Hitter's Eye.
For me, it is all about color. The parks that have a light green hitters eye (Fenway, plus others) I have trouble with during day games...the light green becomes way washed out and hard to hit. Dark Green, Dark Blue and Black are all good. Stadiums that have trees (and other landscaping) in the hitters eye (Coors) is fine most of the time, depending on what pitcher you are facing...some deliveries just place the ball in a bad spot.
For me, the absolute worst is Wrigley Field. Against ANY RHP, the ball gets lost in the crowd, making it very hard to hit. Lefties are fine, as their release point is in the hitters eye, and it is dark.Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a ttoal jmulbe and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

Re: Favorite hitters eye ballpark
I have my best success hitting at Miller Park. IDK why but its like a comfort zone or something, its also nice on the eyes off the backdrop behind the pitcher.

Re: Favorite hitters eye ballpark
I loved PNC park for some reason. I kept going back to it after trying to start over elsewhere. I like my hometown Comerica Park in real life but just couldn't get comfortable there in the game. I wish we had the old Tigers stadium.Comment

I like this Batter's Eye. I might have hit a homer or two playing here:

Re: Favorite hitters eye ballpark
only ballpark i have problems with is in Cincinnati in the day time. the shadows around the plate really mess with my eyes. i cant really explain it. its kinda like being in a dark room and then going out into the sun in the middle of the day. although it has gotten alot better in this years game, last year was very bad for me.
every other park is fine for me, pnc and camden yards are probably the best.Comment

Re: Favorite hitters eye ballpark
This is interesting to read about, because I never experience the "hitter's eye" stuff - I always play on pitcher or outfield cam like a real tv broadcast.Comment
