    Gamestop ready to Ship

Just went to Game Stop Online to cancel my order as they now have $7 off MLB the Show, and got the following message.

[I]The order maintenance system was unable to process your request.

Because our goal is to ship your order quickly, your order has been packaged for shipment and cannot be cancelled. Also, keep in mind if the item you ordered offers a bonus code, the order cannot be cancelled once the code is provided as stated in our website Help section and on the product page. If you have questions or still need assistance please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or you may call us toll-free at (800) 883-8895. Our hours of operation are 8:00 am - 9:00 pm (CST) Monday through Friday and 8:00 am - 8:00 pm[I]

I say if my package is ready for shipment, send the (Insert Expletive Here) thing. I am all the way down in Australia and wont get it before Tuesday anyhow.

Why do you want to cancel it? And who has it for 7 dollars off?

Gamestop has $7 off as mentioned in my post. Wanted to cancel the pre-order, and pre-order again with the $7 discount. Also think the $30 postage is a little steep, but that is the only way I have found to get the classic stadiums since I live in Australia, and the offer is only at a couple of places; Game Stop being the only one that ships to Australia.

You can't express ship to get it earlier? So as it stands now when will you get it?

if you can find a way to safely do it, I'll grab a copy on Monday at midnight and send it down under to you. I'm sure standard shipping of a 1 pound package won't be $30 that way

Where do you see $7 off? I don't see anything on their website. Does it have anything to do with you living Down Under?

It may be Australian dollars. I am not sure though what the exchange rate is. Either way $30 does sound like alot.

Btw... I went to their website & like JoeCoolMan24 says, I see no discounted price. In fact Amazon has it for three dollars less than Game Stop.

                Re: Gamestop ready to Ship

Gamestop just charged my credit card, and I'm down under too ... I've just accepted that we get our games few days later and have to pay through the teeth for it.

Before PS3, we couldn't play the game at all due to territorial coding. The last significant game of baseball I've played prior to The Show 09 was high heat baseball.

                  Re: Gamestop ready to Ship

Oh and regards to the money ... The exchange rate is pretty good right now.

All up the game cost me $101.95AUD. New releases in Oz at EB games are usually $99.99 to $109.95 ... So the price isn't that bad compared to what we normally pay.

Is it 30 dollars for regular airmail? If so then that's ridiculous. It cost me 20 euros to DHL which is pretty close to 30 AUD.

                      Re: Gamestop ready to Ship

It was about $27. And that's for Air Express ... they estimate that to take 2-3 days in transit.

I bought a few Oriole tshirts for me and the wife and phiten bracelet from mlb.com and they charged me $51.00 frieght ... And it took a week and half from door to door. So $27 I'm def not complaining.

I used another retailer online, cost me $82 Canadian... converted too (including bank charges) £50, which is about £10 more than a standard shelf release in the UK, but I did pay extra for DHL Express shipping which should get the game here quicker.

Sorry for hijacking though, good to hear that Gamestop are ready to ship, im hoping for the same sort of news later today
