Throws home seem to be abnormally less accurate than, say, a throw from the OF to third. Granted that throw isn't as long, but throwing to third the throw seems to be on the money every time whereas throwing to the plate it's almost always up the line. I throw out like 2 or 3 idiots trying to go first to third every game with Corey Hart, but I have yet to throw anybody out at home. Hell, I managed to throw someone out trying to 1st/3rd from the warning track at Busch yesterday. yep,agree,not realistic,most throws seem 10 feet up the line..although not really complaining, love the game.im a huge reds fan and jay bruce has a gun,yet on the game, throws are wide and off and i even preload the throws..the animation takes too long to throw as opposed to real life..but il deal with it..LOVE THE SHOW

If people feel the throws home are not good enough why keep doing it, just use the cut. Also with the throws home it really depends how deep you are in the outfield. I nailed a runner at the plate with victorino, it was a sharply hit ball back up the middle. The throw was in plenty of time as ruiz held on for a collision, if I wasn't posting from my phone, I'd link the youtube vid I saved the highlights to. But yes depth plays a major factor as well a ratings. I'm the opposite I can't throw anyone out at 3rd with werth. His throw is always a hair late or a hair offline which makes the tag lateComment

Yeah, I can't figure out why Swisher can't hit the plate from RF, he has such a great arm he should be making that throw perfectly 90% of the time...

Has anybody noticed the throws always go to the first base side of the catcher? Maybe its just me, but I feel like my ctacher always has to grab the ball across his body and then apply the tag. I have yet to see a throw land on the 3rd base side...Comment

Slow down people, thats NOT the same thing as 09! They have definitely eliminated that bug.
In 09 the bug was the Catcher would leave homeplate and come up the line. In 10, I have noticed the Catcher stays at the plate, but the throw always seems to be to his right side.Comment
