I love the standard pitching view (outfield) for RTTS. But for RTTS only. I like catcher for franchise/exhibition/anything but RTTS. Just do whatever looks best to you.

Personally, it's hard for me to get used to the outfield view because I'm so used to using the catcher view for all of my gaming years, but if you can get used to the outfield view, all the more power to you since it's the authentic TV broadcast view.

Outfield looks like your watching a real HD game. It's incredible. And I seem to see the meter better for some reason.

            I prefer the outfield view.

The good people here sold me on Outfield. I'd have a hard time going back.

catcher - always - though the Outfield is cool also.

Question for those using Outfield view for pitching...I do. Is it me or does the crowd from this view (while pitching) look like 2D cut outs? I even go into replay and they look fine. I pause and switch to Pitcher view and they look fine. Can someone confirm I'm not dreaming. I love Outfield view because of the realism, but the crowd is an eyesore. Thanks.

I really never looked at the crowd in the background to tell you the truth. I'll make sure I check it out in the next game I play. However, what bothers me is the crowd wearing white shirts. It makes it hard for me to try to line up the pitch accuracy on the meter (also white). It might just be me, but they both seem to blend in together!

Same here. Outfield is the bomb.

I was using outfield view for the past few months with 09, but I decided to try pitcher (the more zoomed in view). I'm glad I did, as it's much easier to aim your pitches without the ball marker since you've got more room to work with. On outfield view, you're at the edge of the zone if you barely move the L-stick. Still wish The Show had a "dead-center" pitching camera...

qb. i don't use the ball marker either. do you find it easier or harder to pinpoint with vibration off or on? right now, it seems i'm having a harder time pinpointing my pitches with vibration on, which i like so i can draw more walks. i use meter pitching.
