Playstation Move: MLB 11 The Show?

Sony announced it today. The "Move" will be released this fall, and is basically like the Wii, but on Playstation, meaning the great games we have can be played using motion controls, not just the crappy Wii games. In the demo, they show Socom 4 being integrated for it, and they said that adding the motion controls is actually a pretty simple transition. Wondering if SCEA is planning on using this for MLB 11 The Show. I would LOVE the ability to be able to actually bat with the motion controls. It was the only thing on the Wii Sports that was very fun for me, and I can't imagine how sweet it could be with good graphics, deep gameplay, ect.

I don't want to workout when I play, it's supposed to be a relaxing thing to play my baseball game. I dunno...maybe it's just me.

As long as it's 100% optional. I think it would be great for batting, but fielding and pitching could be iffy. For pitching I don't know how you'd work out velocity, accuracy, etc.

i think it was eddy cramm, who loosely mentioned they were looking into the motion controls for next year, or something to that effect.

I rather play the current way so it needs to be optional because I would try it but for my season I would like to play it the current way.

I think it'd be cool in HR derby but yeah I agree I'll stick with my trusty "paddle" in season mode. lol

In RTTS '11, I wish we could use it to put up a finger to the managers on Hit&Run goals. Or maybe to the umps in manager mode.

The motion controller would be a great addition as long as they make it optional.

It sounds like this motion control would be completely optional for all games that are reg. games as well. Basically games that aren't just made for it, like Socom.

It would be fun for a little while but then I would want to go back to my dual shock 3. But I think the pitching would have to be dumbed down for it.

There's a reason I don't play my Wii very often...I prefer the standard controls style.

Since it's an addon, I think they will have to make it an optional configuration for the many who decide not to purchase the peripheral anyways.

I would Love it if it is for RTT hitters only so I only need to swing the bat and not worry about fielding/pitching/base running.

I'll stick to my regular controller. I have a Wii already and I only use it for New Super Mario, a game that requires no motion at all.

It would be cool when batting but how would the base running controls work ? or the fielding controls?And how are going to control your accuracy speed or realese point when pitching??it would be cool if it was optional feature.
