As you can see by the video, Carlos Marmol is far too accurate with his fastball using meter pitching. I have the pitcher consistency slider as low as it goes, and still pinpoint accuracy for a pitcher that doesn't know the zip code for where his fastball will land in real life. I wasn't pitching quite as good as I usually do because to capture the video, I have to play on my computer monitor; I can usually hit the sweet spot a bit more often.
Check out 2:02 on the video. I aimed for the high inside corner, Marmol missed, but threw it right on the high outside corner. So when you do in fact miss by a lot, you miss on the corner of the plate anyways.
