extra base hits?
Hi all this is my first time playing the show, so far I am really enjoying it. I am currently playing RTTS on veteran and am hitting very well, but none of them seem to be extra base hits. Even when I have solid contact and hit the ball to the track the outfielders run the ball down every time. Overall the number of hits/game is pretty realistic but I honestly cannot hit doubles. Any suggestions on adjusting sliders etc?Tags: None -

I'm actually doing OK with doubles 7 games into my season, which wasn't the case last year. The only advice I can give is to be aggressive and try to stretch would-be singles into doubles. Specifically, grounders down the line that a LF/RF cuts off, can still become doubles if you have someone with decent speed. Give it a shot some time!
More traditional doubles will come though, don't worry. Just keep making solid contact. -

23 games and 13 doubles as the Trenton Thunder's CF. Helps to have 68 speed. Still, seems a tiny bit high to me. Half of my doubles are from bad dives by outfielders though. The others were gappers. You should have seen 08, it was IMPOSSIBLE to get anything other than a single. In 09, it was better, but not by much. In 10, they seem to have figured things out.Last edited by kilmar1; 03-12-2010, 10:23 PM.Comment

I don't see any problem with doubles, I have even had several triples, I play on all star and did not move one slider. The games are great.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer
