I think it would be cool to see other peoples predections on breakout players....a few of mine are Gordan Beckham and Kyle Blanks.

I believe this would be ratings-wise, considering that all the players listed have A-potentials but are C's or B's overall.

Ya I wouldn't consider Beckham a breakout candidate this year, nor Bruce for that matter. Unless you count it since he was battling depression, he still hit 22 homers last year (albeit with a .223 avg).

I would say Heyward but I think everyone who knows baseball sees that coming.

Hmmmm....I'll go with Samardzija, hopefully he steps up in some capacity this year. ........OR ELSE

I think Mike Leake may be better than Chapman, but I'm being biased here.

Ditto. And Jason Bulger, he won't get recognition but he should be solid in the pen this year

                        Obligatory homer picks ...

                        Pitching - Brian Matusz
                        LF - Nolan Riemold

Very homer pick, but I am trying to think outside the box too.

SP Gavin Floyd. I think he is going to finally break out and have a great year (ERA under 3.40). I think it will be Floyd and Peavy carrying the staff.
