Re: Manager Mode Pitching Question
Re: Manager Mode Pitching Question
Are you playing the '10 version? I can't find "pitch to batter" anymore on the menu. The difference is "pitch to batter" means don't pitch around or intentionally walk the batter and "pitch aggressive" means throw a strike on a particular pitch.
Unfortunately the cpu tends to take over in some situations and will still pitch around or intentionally walk a batter regardless of what you select.
It's been reported in the glitch thread repeatedly. Whether it gets fixed is anybody's guess.≡ -

Pitch to batter (not in MLB 10) - just throw the ball, try to get it over the plate, but balls are okay and walks happen
Pitch Aggressive - throw a strike. the pitch will almost always be over the plate and very rarely will walks result.Comment
