Cool thing I found out about pitching rotations.
If you leave the last spot in the rotation empty, your team will employ a 4 man rotation. This can come in handy when you wan't to skip the 5th starter, as some teams do early in the season, due to off days. Will also help in the playoffs, when most teams employ a 4 man rotation.Tags: None -

I'll check later....when I was simming one of my 1000 test seasons...I thought I noticed the pitching matchups to not go to the 4 or 5 starters.
I could be crazy though.

Yes, I did this in my Season, I skipped my 5th starter the first go around and used him as a LRP, and then when it was his spot to pitch it went back to number 1.
Made it pretty realistic, still gave that starter that I skipped time out of bullpen the first go around.Comment
