I'm in RTTS with a speed rating of 54. I don't even do baserunning now because I don't think that is fast enough to start trying to steal. But I am curious for some farther along, when did you start trying to steal manually and what was your speed rating? I was thinking once I got to a 60 speed rating I'd start running manually.

I'm at 86 speed and 71 base stealing ability and have 2 steals, both were errant throws. I say wait til you get 100 speed /sarcasm.Comment

I always thought baserunning agressiveness and ability had alot to do with stealing. I dont know how much, but I think they have more to do with stealing then people think. I use the ability and speed to make my decision. Again, dont know if they do mean anything, but I use em like they do, lolComment

You are correct. Baserunning ability is a HUGE factor in your chances of stealing successfully. If you have a speed o99 and a baserunning ability of 25, you will get gunned down frequently. If you don't believe me, edit some attributes and try it!Comment

you have two choices in RTTS, dont try to steal and loose points when you get the sign, or try to steal and loose double the points. DONT EVEN BOTHER TRYING, use your points to boost power or contact.Comment
