Silver slugger?

I thought this award was given to the best player at EACH position, not just one per league, but in my season awards there are only 2 silver sluggers (1 for national league and 1 american league) is this normal?

Gold Glove is one per position, Silver Slugger is hitters trophy.

Silver Slugger most definitely is awarded one per position.

Now Im not sure. I haven't gotten to the end of my season yet to see the awards. I thought it the game it was a one award thing not per position but not sure now, sorry i am not being much help.

Silver Slugger is still messed up and only given to one player per league which is simply wrong!

For some odd reason, the Silver Slugger is not set up correctly. Each position gets the award, not one person per league. This has been a problem since at least '08. Not sure why it hasn't been fixed. It is an obvious mistake.

Silver Slugger is still messed up and only given to one player per league which is simply wrong!

In the game it is only one trophy per league. In real life it is one trophy per position, except that the AL gets one for DH and the NL gets one for the pitcher. Gold gloves this year are better than last year though. This year there has to be some actual stats other than just 1.000 fielding percentage. I got tired of seeing Adam Everett get the AL glove last year with his 33 assists at SS.

I left out the not set up correctly. My mistake. Didn't mean to cause confusion.

Not true. Wes Helms is winning the 3B Gold Glove with 5 assists.

Yep it's definitely one per position, just look on wikipedia.

But that's cool about the gold glove thing, perhaps this year my entire starting lineup won the gold glove at each position, and i was even using sliders for errors...
