I was going to use the new OS roster and wanted to edit Yovani Gallardo he just got a 5 year/30mil deal from the brewers, in the offical update it has it, but of course the OS has the minor leaguers!! So if so How can u edit player contracts! or is it not possible? I had to start a new franchise because i could not sim or play a game once i got past the all-star game, u could exit out but could not get past the schedule screen.. anyways thanks

you can't edit a player's contract.
The only thing that I can think of that would serve as a workaround is before entering into franchise mode, release the player from your team, then re-sign him from free agents to the contract that you desire.
And I'm not sure that would even work.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Pretty simple actually....
PRE-franchise.....in other words as if you were going to edit a roster.
Just put the player on the FA list...then move him back to his team...and he will have a new contract. It may take a few tries to get the one you want(the years will be random)...but it will change.
It works for any player.
