For whatever reason, if I change the settings while playing a game, they will not save, for instance I change the pitching difficulty from veteran to all-star, when I finish the game and if I play another it goes back to veteran and I have to change again when I play another game. Now if I go to the gameplay settings in the RTTS home I can change settings here, like pitching to All-Star, but when I go to play a game, the setting is back to veteran and I have to switch it back again everytime.
Now it doesn't do this for all settings, such as API, if I do turn it to on instead of default, the API will be on no matter what when I'm in game, but you can't change the setting in game anywhoo.
As of right now I'm looking at the settings in the main menu, it shows pitching as all-star, I have guess pitch set to Classic 1/4, batting view to Wide, and I have hot zones turned on. Now this does save, and is the same everytime I play the game. But now if I go and play a game, the settings will be back to veteran pitching, default guess pitch, the batting view will be back to catcher, and the hotzones won't be on. I will then have to turn all the settings back to the way I want in game, but as soon as I play another game, the settings are back to the way I don't want them.
I tried deleting my settings save but it doesn't help. I figured creating a new RTTS and selecting the settings I wanted while creating it would rectify the situation but much to my dismay the settings were still reverting back to what I believe were the settings from the first time I played the game, veteran pitching, default guess pitch etc.
I tried just ignore it and switch my settings every time I play a game but sometimes you forget and realize you just pitched 4 innings on veteran difficulty and it honestly gets tiresome changing 5 settings every time you play a game especially being a relief pitcher...
Hopefully someone out there has had this issue and there is either an easy fix or there is something totally obvious that I'm missing. And yes I've tried searching but I'm too damn stupid to think of proper search terms that might actually get what I'm looking for...
Cliff notes... If I change my settings they won't save...
