I'm with you on that one. I'm thinking that there is no way this 3d stuff will catch on big time because of the need to wear glasses. I'll wait till they come out with 3d and no glasses.

I'm right there with you guys, so long as I have to wear special glasses, forget it. I already wear glasses and I'm not wearing another pair over them..

I'm more on the "If I have to pay 2000 for a 3D TV then forget it" side. No 3D for me this generation.

Im leaning towards that as well. Wish there was some type of trade in program. I might still get one in March or sometime there after depending on what and if I get a good bonus next year. Im looking at the Sony TV's. Especially since they should be Google TV equipped

Heck, I haven't seen many for 2000. The 3D plasma's I was looking at are running around $3100. The LED's might be less, but IMO, plasma's produce better overall picture quality than LED's.
