Re: mlb 10 the show 3d demo

I just purchased a 46" Samsung 3D Led UNC8000 series TV. It comes with the starter package (2glasses+movie) and a 3D blu-ray player.I demo'd this in Sears and I was impressed with the technology and was sold. I am incredibly excited. It should be setup by Wed. I will def check out the Show in 3D and post feedback here.

Re: mlb 10 the show 3d demo

So I tried last night and it was visually impressive, but I don't think it's far along enough to be groundbreaking and state of the art. There was also major lag. I'm not sure if that has to do with the 3D or I have to research more on my new tv.

Lag would be a serieus problem but I believe they're optimizing and tweaking it for 11 so I don't know if the The Show 10 3d demo is good reference material.

Does the 3d demo have a slider to increase or decrease the 3d effect?

Thanks!

I'm curious if this will be compatable with a 3d ready monitor. Most everything I've been able to research has the monitors tied to the computer and the 3d graphics card. Not sure if the ps3 with the update would suffice. Surely would be a cheaper option for someone interested in this...like myself.

Not sure if it is your tv, but it has been stated that Samsung TV's have lag with some games and games are best played with "Game Mode" on I believe.

Yes I did do that and that took care of that problem. I played a full game over the weekend and nothing that thoroughly impressive with the 3D. I'd rather stick to the 2d version with out the glasses.
