Yeah, but can you imagine how awesome it will be to see him touching his helmet in 3D? I mean, all you'd have to do is add more cowbell to the standard HR music and that entire experience would be head-knocking awesomeness.

No it wont only be in 3D. They are just adding 3D to the game. You can still play it in 2D.
