This is something that has peaved me off for the longest time with The Show, and I just had to get it off my chest.
When are they finally going to get his stance right? How often do you see Ichiro stand still in the box? He is running out of the box as he is swinging, especially on outside pitches. In The Show, he stays in the box and swings as if he is trying to drive it every time. He very rearely does that in real life. The only time he stays in the box is on an inside pitch, that he sits back on and tries to drive it, even then he is somewhat leaning as he swings. However, most of the time he is running before he even makes contact with the ball. EA's MVP had his stance down pat, where he would actually start running before hitting the ball. Whenever I see Ichiro swing at a pitch while not starting down the line in The Show, a feeling of unrealism sets in. And that is one of the only instances in this game that I get such a feeling.
They have updated other players' batting stances, so why not Ichiro's?
