I'd like to put marlyn Byrd in my starting rotation in MLB 10the show is there any way of changing his position from he outfield to pitcher

go to edit player,and change postion where is says position:

Actually, unless I'm missing something you can only edit pitchers from SP to RP to CL. Likewise, you can only edit position players to other positions, not to pitchers.

If you really wanted him in your starting rotation, I guess you could just edit a pitcher to his name, etc. I think that's the only way you can do it.

your best bet would be to set your lineup with the pitcher batting first, then when he comes up to bat, pinch hit with Marlon Byrd, and then when they ask if you want to put in a reliever after that inning, just exit out and Byrd should take the mound.
