Next Week Community Event (Uniforms and Stadiums)

Just as the gameplay/analog thread, this is set up to receive feedback on uniforms and stadiums.

Please do not post anything about classic uniforms, we already have a thread for that.

This is for uniforms/stadiums that are current for the MLB '11 season, and what you felt was wrong and needed adjustments on uniforms/stadiums in the previous versions.

Please be as descriptive as possible, and pictures are a big plus. We will try our hardest to check up on everything that is posted here, and get answers for you next week.

Miller Park:

1. Are the shadows correct on the field. There should be no shadows at start of game, or shadows should be in the stands along the first base line and progress towards the outfield from right to left.

2. Is the new centerfield scoreboard in?

3. Does the roof open and close?

Also, in regards to Fenway Park, have they put in the new HD centerfield scoreboards that will be new for the 2011 season?

Also, have they replaced the Red Sox alternate "hanging socks" hat with their normal "B" hat? The Red Sox did away with their alternate hats early on last season.

OK hopefully this is all fixed.



Far Right: Rangers Red Jersey, white letters with blue outline, white pants with red socks. They only wear this at home.

Middle Right: Rangers Blue Jersey, white letters with red outline, grey pants with blue socks. The blue jersey can be worn at home or on the road.

Center Right: Rangers Blue Jersey, white letters with red outline, grey pants with blue socks. The blue jersey can be worn at home or on the road.

Center Left: Rangers Grey Jersey, blue letters with red outline, grey pants with blue socks. The grey jersey can only be worn on the road.

Middle Left: Rangers White Jersey, blue letters with red outline, white pants with blue socks. The white jersey can only be worn at home.

Far Left: Rangers spring training jersey. Self explanatory.

The helmet that was in last years game had both red and blue (two toned). Ryan nixed that idea in spring training two years ago, so they wear a solid red helmet with a red hat and red jersey, and blue helmets with their blue hats the rest of the time.

I didn't realize this was for stadiums too. Rangers Ballpark in Arlington will have new scoreboards for the next season. The one in left will not be too much different from what they have now (it's being upgraded to HD). The one in right is being changed however. It used to look like this:

Are the uniform options still the same? Meaning, when you select are there only the normal option, and one alternate? So teams like the Mets, Brewers, D-backs, Indians, etc, that wear three uniforms at home are limited to two?

The LED stats screen in dead CF on the Fan Deck is sorely missing in The Show, and was not shown in the picture of Adam Dunn that was saw a few weeks ago. This is something that's always bothered me since it's in dead CF, it's always on the screen while hitting/pitching. I've seen it show Sox logos, but never the player's name and his stats. It would be very helpful to see this.

In the Cardinals' bullpen, there should be memorial signs for Darryl Kile and Josh Hancock. They are both black circles with white lettering. One says DK 57. The other says JH 32.

There should also be a grassy gap between the avertisements on top of the out field wall and the wall itself. During the summer, there are sometimes blooming flowers inbetween the outfield bleachers and the wall.

Also the outfield bleachers should be silver metal benches with red back rests.
