Looking Ahead

So with about 20 days left until christmas, lol, has anyone thought about what team they are going to use and what direction they envision to take the franchise in? How exactly are you wanting to build your franchise, what possible free agents you might be looking at after the 2011 season in your franchise?

I'm interested in using the Orioles. I think they have a young team. Plus I like Vlad and I never really used him in a game along with being in that tough division. Or maybe the Mets, do you look to trade those big contracts by the deadline or let them walk?

I guess something to kill time, post your ideas.

Re: Looking Ahead

I'll be playing as the Cardinals. As for what moves I'll make, I have no idea as I like to go into the season with a clear mind and not clouded with ideas for moves until I see how things shake out. I don't look to make any moves, until late May at the earliest of the first year.

One thing I do know, Pujols will remain a Cardinal.

Re: Looking Ahead

Well....I've got the Mets.
Very little on the field...very little in the system.(Flores is our only top 50...).
With the Full Minors, I'm going to be sure and reflect that in the potentials of our farm system...and in conjunction with that....the new tougher trade system, should make it for a tough few years before the Mets are true contenders again.

Re: Looking Ahead

I am always the Reds. Probably the 1st year I will only make moves that the real Reds do. Probably won't start a franchise until Knights Rosters are done thou.

Re: Looking Ahead

I plan on using The Yankees...

But I still haven't decided whether or not to use Andy Pettitte.

Either way, all I can say now is; in 2012 I will be looking to beef up my rotation. The Yankees have some decent pitching prospects (thanks Knight and Co.), but unless I see things play out and how some of these guys progress, it's hard to say NOW how exactly I will go about things.

Don't you wish you could be so sure of Pujols IRL? LOL

Your entire fanbase must know that if Pujols is allowed to test the waters the Cubbies are gonna be coming after him hard right? We got alot coming off the books at season's end this year.
