The Show doesn't fit my TV screen?

It was like it last year when I bought my new Toshiba 40" screen. I know how to fix it, I am just curious why it does this out of the box?

Because all TV's are different so they would rather it be too small than too big when you first start the game.

If I understand him correctly, I think he's saying it actually goes outside of his viewable area. Like, it was too big.

Same thing happened to me when I first got '09.

I assume it's just the demo. In the game you can manually adjust it.

I assume they make it like this to compensate for TVs with automatic over scan. On my Panasonic plasma it forces a small amount of over scan on anything in 720p. I'd much rather have a smaller picture that I can adjust, as opposed to a fixed picture size that is slightly too big for my tv. I wish all games handled their video options like The Show.

That makes sense. It starts out with black bars around the screen. I can get the full screen by going into the video/audio options and make it fit my screen (vertical/horizontal size). It just didn't do it with my first tv. But it didn't have the options where I could set my screen size (native, overscan, etc.).

It did this for me on 10 but it was easy to fix. The annoying part was that the intro video always had the black bars no matter what.
