What hitting camera will you be using this year?

I'd like to include a poll here but there's so many options this year.

Personally I'm going with Offset 2 and have found it to be the best hitting camera I've encountered in a 2D baseball game. If I ever make the leap to 3D I may go with something more straight on since I'll be able to see the depth but that likely won't be until at least next year's game.

What about you? Which one do you like and why?

'Catcher 5' all-the-way ... takes me back to MVP a lil' bit.

More importantly, I like how "imposing" the pitcher looks in this camera - AND I can just pick up the pitches better.

***PS - actually, the new cameras (IMO) are my favorite NEW option for '11 ...call me crazy, but I am serious!!!!

I started out with that one as I was a big MVP guy too until I got my PS3 last year and that cam does remind me of MVP but without the hitter's eye from MVP I have a hard time picking up the pitches from that cam.

At least this year everyone will finally have a view they can hit in! I do not have any specific one as of yet.

I'll be trying to recreate the MLB 2K10 batting cam

^^ I thought one of the new default hitting cams is close to that?

they all seem a bit too close, i didn't think there was one with enough ground at the bottom of the screen

i may have to take another look though, and sadly i only have one controller, so no custom cam (for me) until March 8

This is exactly my problem, word for word. I have such a dilemna when it comes to hitting, I find myself changing the camera between at-bats! Lol. I love the angle of Catcher Cams 4 & 5 for picking up location but get blown away by fastballs because of the straight on nature of those cameras. I could go back to Catcher Cam (or Catcher Cam 2) for picking up the speed of pitches but I've always struggled with low pitches in years past on Catcher Cam. And the Off-set ones are just too much for my simple mind to process.

TBD is all I can say for now.

I'll of course be playing around with the camera editor once it comes out (I won't have two controllers until the MLB one comes out March 8th). I usually hit and pitch from the outfield view, so I'll be trying out all the different broadcast views, plus creating my own. Hitting from the outfield view is tough when facing a lefty, so I'm really looking forward to creating a camera that'll help me there.

I really like catcher cams 3 and 4 so far. 5 is just a tad low for my tastes.

I like catcher cam 5 right now. I also like hitting from the pitcher camera and will use that on occasion when I'm in the mood. I'll try a custom batting cam to see how that is when I get the game, but so far I'm liking catcher 5.

Broadcast all the way. I like playing the game like it is interactive television.

It can be a bit difficult, but it just looks fantastic.

I like the offset cameras because you get to see 2 different angles of the ballparks with lefty or righty. I like Offset 3, 4, and maybe 6. I am leaning toward Offset 4 right now.

I felt the same way about the offset cams at first but I would recommend trying one and stick with it for awhile. You'll struggle at first but once you get used to the angle it allows you to see the pitch alot better. Inside pitches are really the only ones I still have some problem with. Just my two cents.

That's one of the few good things from that game. I still prefer my offset 2 to that though.

For those that haven't tried it yet, I find offset 2 is very similar to the hitting camera in Pro Yakyuu Spirits 10, if you're familiar with that.
