sure seems like it, they are going to shift focus to the NGP now for MLB 12 -
Re: Still no news about the PSP version?
It's perfectly understandable that they're not investing serious resorces into the franchise with the PSP2 on the horizon, but this is still disappointing.
If they're not going to put any effort into this version -- given that we're a week from release and there isn't so much as a fact sheet on the internet, it's probably a safe assumption -- the least they could do would be to drop the price to 19.99. Heck, NBA 2k11 was actually a solid title, and it sold for that.
If 2K is charging $30 for a reasonably full featured (and mod-able) version of mlb 2k11 for PC . . . it's really tough to rationalize sticking with Sony. Even if my laptop requires me to turn down the graphics a bit.
I know, I know, play the Show on PS3. If I could actually spend time in my living room, that would be a great idea. I need something I can use on-the-go.Last edited by zzyzx; 02-28-2011, 10:21 AM.Comment

Re: Still no news about the PSP version?
The one thing I keep seeing when I have seem in advertising at sites, like Amazon, is only adhoc, no infrastructure. This means the roster that it comes on day one, is it. There will be no in-season updates on the rosters, except for manual ones done by us. The game will most likely be just like the past few years, no progress. I saw the price at 29.99. It is a shame. I guess I will wait till it comes out to see if there is any reason what so ever to buy this game this year.Comment
